Hodson's Fish - Reservar uma mesa

I called in last night and ordered just a Venus burger. to my surprise it come with chips which I'm not complaining about !! very nice food and service the burger was a beaut and the chips i think are fried twice.!!!. however my only disappointment was when the owner (I presume) was having a go at one of the service girls in front of customers ! this in my book is a no go!! I believe that if you have to have a loud discussion with staff then it should be done away from customers. other than that not a bad thing to say about it!

since the new owners have taken over the quality of both the product and the service, has significantly improved (as it was earlier, and possibly even better imho . always responded to a friendly vote when I call to place my order. the young man who often supplies our food is a beautiful polite young man and the delivery is in the regular timely and within the specified time scale. they do not really go anywhere else for our fish and chip supers in these days. may not recommend hodsons enough;

EDITED AFTER FIRST REVIEW...... went to Hodsons again, a week after first review. Couldn't keep away as the food is so much better than elsewhere. Rang first to check was open. So glad it was. Lovely food, Fish particularly nicely cooked. Generous portions. Best in town.
