first a little background: my wife and I wandered (on our first visit in the vigil) of white churches in the direction pointed through the wine mountains and the forest; not a hard walk, but as it happened, very hot, sunny and tiresome. after an hour or...so I started to feel strangely dizzy, maybe a follow of another long hot hike the day before and decided to cut the walk short by going down to wosendorf. when we reached the village, I could hardly stand without rolling, and we asked a few if they knew about a caffe or a bar close. they simply point out that we were right next to a very good restaurant (which we had not noticed). so we went pure, mainly on the look for rest and some kind o...

First: the service was really great. We got a table for lunch on rather short notice and the kitchen wasa about to close within the next half hour. Not a problem at all with the staff, which was attentive and helpsul. The food was great...and definitely worth every cent. It is a bit on the pricey end of restaurants, but the quality and service do fit the pricing. Overall, a very good lunch and a definitive recommendation.

We came for lunch and it was the best desicion we could make. We tried 2 soups and 2 second dishes: vegetarian and non vegetarian and they all there delicious. I'm not sure if there is something for vegans, but vegetarians won't leave hungry.

what a fantastic experience. we had the four curses with wein pairings. Of course we had a drink to start and drink to round a wonderful dinner. please look at the photos. I recommend the cheeseboard.

eating is absolutely tasty combined with her emerald white wine. we'll go back there.
