After having spared the restaurant some time due to a disappointing experience with the service, we wanted to try again, because the kitchen of the Hogalounge we had remembered very well. But nothing changed and it was the purest Déja vu. Again we ordered an aperitif, here the waiter was still attentive. The main dish was excellently prepared and very appealing, really great. The excellent cuisine is clearly the strength of the Hogalounge. We had duck, which was perfectly prepared, the sauce was also excellent. The plates are garnished each time with something special, this time among other things with fried sweet potato slices. Unfortunately we had to take our food sitting in front of empty...
The parking situation is positive. The restaurant is very modern. The choice of dishes is very limited. This also applies to cocktails. The service is bad overall. After the first order, it is necessary to fight for any operation, as it is preferred to talk to one another at the bar. Knowledge of the preparation of the food is only available sporadically. The term medium rare was completely unknown. Unfortunately, the result was also appropriate. If you pay €40 for a steak, you can ask for more. After the steak went back, the two came. Try medium rare, but badly fried, without crust, only wabbelig, like gods' food. My wife's salad was excellent. We wanted to break down the trouble with cockt...
The restaurant has a kitchen doe open and enjoyable seating with a pitch on the tables. The diets are fixed and friendly. The menu small, but fine. We have eaten: pea rags with Beluga lenses (very good), pumpkin creams and Avovadocarpaccio (very good). Main dishes: Origional Wienerschnitzel , Wildgullasch , bovine fillet with very good fried shrimps. Everything was good to very good, except for the backs. This of taste very good, but portion poor. (2 x 3 cm narrow strips and for 26 € significantly tooi expensive. Dessert wary chocolate cake was serh quickly finished (normally this takes up to 20 minutes, here in 5 minutes, strange). Cake was warm but crumbles were not liquid. Taste very good...
We went to fourth to the restaurant at 19:30 on Saturday. Only the outdoor area was visited by guests. We had twice Rumpsteak medium with supplements (steakhouse pools) and once maish chicken with asparagus, once carving with asparagus and potato. Both steaks were not medium, but well done, the steakhouse pools were not served together with the steak. After the complaint was re-prepared, the meat was of medium quality, the pommes are convenience products. Our accompaniment had schnitzel with potato and asparagus. The restaurant is only suitable for meat and gourmets, which would like to spend a lot of money on food. I had a vegetarian dish (Gemüsecurry), which was completely overpriced at 13EUR: Very much rice-cococolate with a few vegetable bowls. I left half back. For people who do not like to eat steaks and liver, the selection is completely disappointing: There is only a selection of a few foods, two of them completely boring vegetarian dishes. I do not recommend this restaurant and will certainly never come again.
We were a guest on Tuesday night. We were very friendly and guided to the square. In the evening the room radiates lounge atmosphere. The menu is not very extensive, but the quality of the food is good. We had ordered steak and liver. Both dishes are very tasty. The service was very attentive. We've been there for lunch too. This is offered in the form of a fresh buffet. Cheap and fast dishes at a fair price. The Hogalounge is our favorite place.
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed at the food in the Novalounge. Was there yesterday on a lecture and ordered calf tents, which was served only lukewarm. The size of the portion was like for a pensioner and the vegetables were from the freezer. And I feel the whole thing for 19,90€ as unharmed expensive. So honestly, I've eaten much better and cheaper.
