after a day that went in the icy cold around paris, we needed tea and cake to recover and since all the rudes we wanted to visit were too crowded, we landed at this small place. it looks unpredictable from the outside, but they have a large room upstairs and eating is delicious. the best we had in paris. it is on the expensive side: a piece of quiche (feta and leeks, amazing with a few leaves salat was 10 euro and cake (also small muffins) are also expensive. but the quality was impressive and the atmosphere was very relaxed. it was also nice to escape from tourist. I would definitely recommend it.

We live near Hoja in Le Marais. The concept is interesting: well-decorated, owner very friendly and tea/ cakes/ bakery are homade. When the place is crowdy the waitress is a bit disorganized. We tried the carrot cake (the cake doesn't have enough held but taste...is good) and the lemon cake (good taste but a bit dried). It's also a bit expensive 4 euros for a slice of cake. This is one of the new place you should try if you are visiting the area but don't expect great food. In that case, it's still better to go to Rose Bakery in Le Marais.

this is a great, covered little caffe with sitting on the top floor. run by a friendly young team and feels like a part of the independent marais instead of one of the old institutions.

this is a good opportunity to eat before or after the visit of the Picasso Museum at lunchtime, but expect the prices in agreement with those normally required in the marais.
