I do not think there will be, ever, any negative comments on the subject of this bakery. relatively new spot but the ladies will be around, as a landmark to Barrie. a place that is a must do words are not enough, but I felt it actually was an experience being at the cafe. Was an afternoon when we last where there, and bread mostly sold out, but still busy , very busy with customers coming in who had ordered ahead, or having a lunch. I went there today for the first time. great selections available in a nice location. They also provide a few vegan options. One thing you must try is their sourdough bread. The staff is really helpful and cheerful, and they take the time to explain what products are the best in their store and which ones you should try.Recommended place for coffee dates!

Homestead created beautiful sandwiches salads for our surprise wedding! I am still receiving complements on how amazing the food was to be honest I should have ordered double!! Everyone devoured the food we couldn't have been happier with how delicious fantastic everything was! Definitely an amazing choice for catering or everyday delicious food!!

Love this hidden gem We stumbled upon it last weekend and have been twice since I could eat an entire loaf of bread to myself the sour dough is amazing Great coffee, local products, fresh breads And a dog friendly patio Wish I had discovered it sooner.

I love this place. I fell in love with their garlic and potato sourdough bread but recently they have made some changes that cater more to my diet as a vegan. Very pleased with Homestead and the staff. Always friendly service and very accommodating.
