Hong Bao - Reservar uma mesa

The orange chicken was disappointing as the chicken was dry and chewy with hardly any sauce. We had to request extra sauce to improve the dish. On a previous visit, the orange chicken was delicious, suggesting a change in chefs. The honey walnut shrimp dish included 10 medium-sized shrimp without honey on the walnuts, and at a price of $41, it was not worth it. The garlic sauteed snow pea sprouts were overcooked, with tough stems, compared to a previous visit where they were cooked perfectly. The hot and sour seafood soup lacked seafood and shiitake mushrooms, but was still tasty. The service and ambiance were excellent.

The food was served cold and the orange chicken was overcooked. The server only checked on us once to bring the bill and we had to ask for a water refill. We do not recommend returning to this restaurant as it is expensive and the quality of food does not justify the price. Despite noting that it was a birthday celebration in our reservation, there was no acknowledgement of the special occasion at all.

Service is always great and food is consistently good. Every server I’ve had thus far has been friendly and attentive. The chaos outside the entrance of those placing take out orders has made my decision to make a reservation before I head out to Yaamava’ and enjoy my meal and box up the rest to take home.
