Hook Reel Cajun Seafood

This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I have to say that the food was fantastic! However, when I got home and reviewed my bill, I noticed that there was an 18% gratuity added. There's a sign indicating that an automatic gratuity is applied for parties of five or more, including those with split checks. Yet, I was part of a group of four, and we were still charged this extra fee. Not only did we pay a gratuity of $41.76, but my husband also left an additional $40 tip in cash for our waitress. My question for the restaurant is: Do you not adhere to your own signage, or is your staff incorrectly adding gratuity to bills to ensure they receive tips?

I went here for my birthday, and it was a complete disappointment. I felt like I had to go to the bar to make my own drink because of the long wait. They seated us right under a cold vent, which was uncomfortable since I had kids with me, so we ended up moving to another table. The waitress seemed rushed and eager to get us to pay because her shift was ending. I didn't even get a birthday song, which was disappointing. The food was just okay, but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

I had the Cajun seafood boil here and was not disappointed. The food was great, the staff polite and although the wait was a bit longer than expected, it was worth it. They also have wings, pasta, a full bar and good deserts. The price was reasonable for what you get, but if you want to be completely full by the end, expect to spend between $60 and $100 here for 2 people. Overall great first experience and will be back again.

I decided to try this place after hearing it was Black owned. I ordered the Reel sea food boil and it was made to perfection the corn was so sweet, shrimp nicely cooked, crab legs were good too. Service was great too , Kiyana was very attentive but not overwhelming. My 4 year old left saying ?our server was so nice mommy?. Will recommend to my friends ! Reserve uma mesa agora

I've only been here once, but I absolutely loved it! I ordered a seafood boil with shrimp and clams, seasoned with garlic butter and mild spices. It was AMAZING! Eating out of the bag while wearing gloves was a unique experience. The portion size is quite generous, so I recommend trying it as is before considering any add-ons.

The ambiance and food was great. I had the crab legs and my wife had the shrimp meal. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. I personally have one gripe. I'm sure it's close to closing and things need to get finished, but mopping in the same area with a bleach type solution kills the appetite. But we will return.

We visited for the second time because the food is absolutely delicious. The drinks and service were superb. The chicharrones will really clear your sinuses—so funny! The sweet potato waffle fries are incredible. And the catfish po' boy? Amazing!

This was our 1st visit to celebrate our granddaughters birthday. It was clean and the service was great. I will be going back there again. Reserve uma mesa agora
