You never know what to expect from the menu until you arrive at this restaurant. Upon arrival, you are presented with a blackboard menu as well as some popular daily dishes on a larger board. The food was absolutely delicious, with the venison being particularly tender. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals and left with empty plates. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I visited today with my daughter, who is a newly diagnosed Coeliac and chooses to be vegetarian which makes it a little easier for her to manage her condition. I must say that it was such a positive experience, nothing was too much trouble for the girls and we had a lovely lunch and a chat after. We felt so welcome and will look forward to coming again soon

We had lunch at this restaurant today. The staff greeted us warmly and was very friendly and helpful. Our food and drinks arrived quickly. The sandwiches were delicious and the coffee was made just the way we like it! This is a fantastic place to eat and it was quite busy, so we will definitely be returning again!

This is unique and quaint. Service excellent and warm welcome given. It’s dog friendly for well behaved dogs too! Vegetarian food available. Baked Goats cheese delicious. You can buy excellent home made sausage rolls to take away or eat there.

Fantastic. Despite the gloomy weather, we decided to have brunch at this restaurant and were welcomed by a very friendly staff. The brunch itself was top-notch, with the best sausages I've had in a while.
