Hopsewee Plantation

Had a great day in Hopsewee with a tour through the house and the grounds and then lunch. I visited a group and everything was well treated. A special recognition for our tour guide who provided many information and gave us time to explore. The tea room is delightful with plenty of sun and a wonderful ambience. It was so peaceful. Thanks to everyone who gives insights into the history of rice plantations and their impact on the low country. Would recommend this to anyone who visits the area!

I visited the tea room yesterday, March 3rd. It was as usual a pleasant experience. Not only the food delicious, but it is visually appealing. They put a nice table, and the service is excellent. The sun room in which it is located looks over the property, and it is a very beautiful view. I highly recommend this place.

The old southern charm at its most beautiful! Directly on the water, perfect for a family trip, school field trip, date day or your dream wedding! And the food in the tea room. ... Can I just say yummy y'all!! A must!!! A hidden gem, our new appointment!

I visited the house and the tea room on a rainy Saturday. I'm so glad I went! The amount I learned is so appreciated and the food at the tea room was fantastic. What a gem of the South!

We have had lunch there twice. It’s delicious so lovely! Even in the heat, the Gin Gin soup is excellent.
