Hostellerie du Moulin de la Sambuc

I was at lunch in this restaurant last April 15 and I must say that compared to what I read about it was rather disappointing. Except my wife's plate a foie gras for appetizer and a roasted duck breast as main course all the rest was full of garlic: I have to say too much, so much so that no taste was felt. Also the service was not up to the place was saved only for the kindness of the owner, while the attitude of the owner was quick and really annoying.

While out for a nice but chilly motorcycle ride, we were cold and hungry and stopped at the Moulin de la Sambuc. It was 2:15pm, a time when most French restaurants will turn you away, but they smiled and set a table for us. The food is good and reasonably priced. The cheese selection is good. The wine list is amazing and worth is for wine-lovers.

pretty restaurant with a veilute decor. the very attractive air map. But when the dish comes, it's disappointing. the decor of the different dish is always the same. we would like more terroir and traditional dish even revisited. I think there's still some adjustment to make.

Whether gourmet or gourmet meals, it is a real treat for taste buds. The welcome is very nice. The boss is also an excellent sommelier. it advises you very well on the wines of the region that it knows perfectly and that are at very affordable prices.

What a surprise! We drove 10years past this restaurant But what a great place. Good kitchen with high end plates. Pretty large room but not crowdy.
