Hot Wok Bistro - Reservar uma mesa

We ordered delivery and got our food very quick. The bag was super hot and I had high hopes but unfortunately when eating I noticed a lot of the meat and vegetables were cold in the middle. This made me wonder if the food was just being reheated instead of cooked when ordered. The portion size was pretty big. We order the chicken corn soup which was very tasty. The beef chow main was good but this had many cold pieces of meat. The chicken fried rice was very bland. The string beans were also cold in the middle. The honey walnut shrimp was soggy, and lastly the Mongolian beef was a bit tough and also cold in the middle. I don?t know if this restaurant is better to eat while dining in but I wa...

Delicious food and at such a great price! It has been so long since I've had tofu Chow mein this good. My fiance got the honey walnut shrimp and it was delicious. Staff was so friendly and I saw our waitress being so kind and helpful to the table over that had a child struggling to choose what to order. If I lived in San Mateo this would definitely be my go-to but for now it will just have to be a place I visit when I'm in town. I hope to return soon!

The menu is VERY basic and the food was just ok. Hard to comprehend all the 5 star reviews. We are in the restaurant and also think that the Google description as a ?trendy place with contemporary styling? is quite the stretch! It?s a local spot, with nice people running it but a bit gritty look and feel.

such excellent food and fantastic service. we went as a group of eight people and it was wonderful. I wish I have more pictures of the amazing food, but here is a picture of the potstickers. they are made fresh and they are amazing.

It's hard to find places like these. Food is always fresh, fast and delicious. We come at least once a month from Hayward to eat here for lunch or dinner. We love it. You're always done as you want. It's a hidden jewel!
