Hotel Bar De L'Etoile

Stopped to have some lunch and there was only one table free on the terrace. There was a silver thing on it but when I picked it up it was clear and did not say reserved'. A young thin busy waitress with dark hair was...passing and I said Can we sit here' to which she was extremely rude, rolling her eyes and saying Can't you see it is reserved there are no tables' in a very unpleasant way as she walked past. I was left astounded and we walked on to La Cote D'Or just up the road where we had a delicious meal served by smiling waiters. There is no need for rudeness!!!!!

A real classic Hotel-Café-Brasserie. Outside it was raining, but inside it had a good, oldfashioned (in the best sense of that word) atmosphere. A family business, it seemed. Friendly service. I had a great tuna salad, my wife had a nice hot chicken dish. A...glass of regional wine (Haut-Côtes) and good coffee.

We stopped for a coffee and were greeted by very friendly staff. A good place to watch the world go by and eye up which cellar to visit. The coffee was good, very hot and came with hot milk. You eat your patisseries bought from...the shop next door with out feeling guilty

We came here just for coffee for a couple of days. It seems like local people come here since groups of people would come in and say hello to one another. It was relaxing and we loved the sound of people speaking French. The espresso...and cappucino are good.

Family restaurant located in the centre of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Good traditional food. Tables outside. Fair prices. Very friendly service.
