A mixup with a hotel reservation website meant that we were not expected and indeed the hotel was on a quiet day. Good news, we were accommodated, the room was pretty big and clean. Bad news, the atmosphere was quite uncomfortable for the first 15 minutes while they worked out what to do (Ie. probably they were to see if they could get out of the booking). Once the restaurant was so closed, everything in everything, not a great stay. And honestly, according to Swiss standards, it was bad. In the high season, if you give them a lot of attention, it could be better.

Restaurant Bewertung. Noch nie so etwas erlebt und dies im Fremdenverkehrskanton Nummer 1 der Schweiz, im Wallis. Die beigefügten drei Bilder sagen eigentlich schon alles. Völlig unkompetentes, unfreundliches Personal. Die Chefin hat sich trotz Aufforderung nicht blicken lassen. Schlicht eine Zumutung! Der 'durstige und hungrige Wanderer' kehrt dort am Besten gar nicht ein, weiter marschieren, zum Trinken hat es überall frisches Quellwasser am Wege.
Wir haben heute Abend im Restaurant Bergsonne in Eggerberg gegessen und waren zufrieden von A - Z. Seit kurzer Zeit wirtet hier ein neuer Koch. Das Essen war wunderbar und die Bedienung rundum nett und aufmerksam. Die Preise waren mehr als moderat.Dieses Restaurant können wir nur empfehlen!
