This traditional French restaurant has a great ambiance, a very friendly welcome and atmosphere, and efficient service. This has to be one of my favourite restaurants we have eaten here a few times with friends at lunchtimes over the past 4.5 years and only very recently. Amazing value for money, from €13.00 for 4 courses including a large carafe of good quality house red wine, plenty of choice, and plenty of food, This restaurant consistently serves good quality excellent food, very delicious and the service always friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place for a lunchtime meal.
As usual, this restaurant did not disappoint. Sunday lunch is always good, and the food is of a high enough standard for us to not harp on about how cheap it is! The cold red wine is both....cold and not very nice but the rosé is a worthwhile substitute. Far too miserable to sit on the terrace on our second visit, but we were quickly and efficiently moved inside with plenty os 'covid ' spacing.
This place was recommended to me by the barber in Eymet. On arriving wasn't sure. But the food was great. Only 14 euros for four courses and a litre of red wine between the four of us. When we had polished that off another one appeared. Warning get here early at lunchtime as an awful lot of workers seem to meet here for lunch so tables go quickly.
We first ‘found’ this restaurant when we had a holiday home nearby, 15 years ago. It soon became a favourite place. Now we live here full-time, we are regular diners. The food is constantly great and the service excellent. Thank you for the past 15 years of lovely memories. A great place to meet friends or to take visitors.
