We went to the Hotel de la vallee in St Nicolas des eaux for Friday night Paella. And what a paella it was. Just the best we ever had. Forget the "authenticity." This had Mussels galore, miraculous shrimps and many Langoustines, at least two chicken legs or thighs each person to squid rings. We couldn't finish it, there was so much and so good. We will return. Starter and pudding not bad, but the paella was something else!

Family-run restaurant, still as good as ever. Martine always greets you with a smile and the food is served quickly and perfectly cooked. If you're in the area doing L'Arte Dans Les Chappelles walk then I recommend you stop here for lunch or finish it with dinner. The calm waters of the Blavet will help you relax and the food will leave you wanting more. The lamb chops are to die for!

Very limited menu. Salads or chicken bugs. Nothing exciting offered or given. Erratic Service. Mixup at delivery, although only 3 of us. This restaurant used to be on my favorite list. Not anymore. Very disappointing.

Good food, decent doses and reasonable prices. Located in the heart of Saint Nicolas des Eaux on the river Blavet. And why not walk along the river for digestion after it!
