Hotel Restaurant Le Rustica

This was our second visit to this restaurant. The first visit was disappointing and sad to say so was the second. We re-visited as friends expressed their surprise when we told them we were not impressed with this restaurant. This occasion service as previously was...excellent, very friendly and helpful. It has to be said, the restaurant itself is lovely and in a perfect setting. It is let down badly by it's food. The lamb dish tasted more like mutton than lamb, the sauce was greasy and the vegetables were over cooked. The desserts tasted and looked like they are bought from the local supermarket. Could be a fabulous place but only if the chef ups his game and cooks decent food.

a really excellent meal, not cheap at 120 euro for 2 (3 curs gourmet menus, aperitifs, coffee, mineral water and half bottle graves), but every cent worth. beautiful terrace in a quiet location right at the edge of the village. parking no problem. very good wine...list welcome. our French are sad. madame smiled with us. we have discovered how we left them, speaks fluent English. we would list this as one of the best hidden gem restaurants that we have discovered on our many visit in France. highly recommended.

beautiful authentic restaurant in the north of pons in st leger. discovered for the first time in this year and then went back shortly after that because we liked it so much. large lunch menu (choice of dishes on all curses) with good wine list. Outdoor terrace...for beautiful days. madame is lovely, helpful and speaks English.

Beautiful restaurant with great food. They have fix price menus and good wine list. The owner is very nice and she speaks english. good experience!
