Hotel Restaurants du Chateau d'Agneaux

We had dinner here. The grounds are lovely, the buildings beautiful and the history engaging.There are two restaurants in one space, Le Table du Louis and La Tour Carree. Clearly their goal is to be a destination dining experience, but the service and menu, while pleasant, come up a bit short of might be expected. If I was getting married in the area I would think it could be an excellent event venue. My guess is that they are struggling to support such a large property and develop the business before they run into trouble. It's a tough thing to do.Go for the charming ambiance. The eponymous rack of lamb seems to be their strength. Nothing was bad, just not exceptional. Service was fine, but...

the table of louis is to be banished, the service is lamentable, desert spilled on the shirt of one of the guests, no excuse from the direction, no commercial gesture, deplorable. and to proscribing

bad dinner in quality and quantity. Deplorable service: unproposed wine, coffee not offered at my table.At the organizer of the evening, I qualified this meal as "honteux". To avoid.

We had a nice meal -- not great! I had rack of lamb which was fine. We enjoyed most sitting outside in the sun with a beer and some snacks they brought us! That was very nice!

There's too much kitchen and service rotation, it unlocks you every year, only the king gipspy in the musical thread is what doesn't change.
