Hudson Valley Steakhouse

Really slow service. Our waiter appeared extremely confused. My buddy ordered a Filet and got a NY Strip. I ordered a NY Strip Medium- Mediun Rare and it was very Rare... too rare for my tastes (and those prices), so I asked them to put it back in. 10 mins later it came out only slightly more cooked... not sure what they did during that time, but it was not expediated. Sides were cold by the time I got my steak. Overall, very disappointing for a 10 person table totaling over $1500.

I am appalled that I just got turned away from here for dinner with my husband and 2 children. We have frequented this restaurant many times without a reservation and I even looked online after and every reservation time was available. (They told us the earliest they had was 8pm) We live really close but hopefully can find another steakhouse nearby to go to.

The staff were very polite but we felt rushed by 2 servers and this made us feel uncomfortable. We did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling, very stoic atmosphere. The food on the other hand, was prepared well. We don't recommend the bacon slab as it was very salty. We will visit again in hopes the service will be different.

Carlos was an attentive and excellent waiter. We went for restaurant week. Was well worth it. Steak was cooked to perfection. Vegetables and potatoes were very good. Appetizer was excellent and so was dessert. Very good dinner

We haven't been in for a while and I don't know why! The service was outstanding the food was amazing and we had a wonderful evening. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly! We certainly will be back soon!!!
