When I read the bad reviews about the service it just makes me want to leave review! People you need to have a sense of humour and remember you go there for the great cheap food and not the service. Been coming here for years..... Amazing food and the best part is the lady who owns it, her strait forward attitude makes me laugh every time. Her husband never does anything quickly but has a great sense of humour. If we haven't eaten there for a few weeks the first thing she says is "WHERE YOU BEEN" now sit at your table and points us to the table! We recently moved but still take the 30min drive just for the experience and food. Great food and the closest you will get away from Vietnam!

This is a couple of levels up from your stock-standard Vietnamese Restaurant. Offers pretty much the same fare, but in a better furnished, cleaner, brighter, not as congested environment ... a more "sanitised" version if you like! I love their fresh seafood, swimming before your eyes before they hit your stomach cavities! I especially adore the fresh Barramundi, Mud Crabs and Crayfish on offer here - usually 15-20% cheaper than the Chinese / Cantonese restaurants. Also a standard lunch venue for me, at least once a month.

So if you want to be noticed, acknowledged and fussed over then don't eat here or in Springvale ( or Richmond for that matter). The food is what the deal is always about. We have eaten here on and off for years back and think that peoples reactions to the owners are hilarious ! Anyway, the food is amazing -bags of flavour, clean fresh, crunchy flavours, brilliant value, fast service and well worth the trip from anywhere. Love this place !

Was a bit worried when we arrived as there weren't many people there but it soon filled up. Service was quick and the food was beautiful. $4 crownies is a bonus. This is a very basic looking restaurant but don't let this put you off. The only down side is that they don,t take cards of any kind so make sure you have cash.

If you're looking for a quick, cheap and very tasty Vietnamese meal this is the place. Decors not great but the food quality is first rate. Good for young kids due to the quick service.
