Hunan Pearl Restaurants

Hunan is that Diamond in the rough--the hidden Pearl in the clam, if you will. If I could describe it in a word, I would say value does the trick. I 've never been disappointed with a single dish. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants out there, and this little place is hidden away in a corner of Lake Oswego in such a way, I imagine people drive by without even realize what a gem it is. I love it! Lunch or dinner, it always delivers.

Hunan Pearl has been a part of our lives for 25 years. It was my dad's favorite place for us to take him, and the wait staff (Tony) and owners (Jason and Michael) were always so kind and respectful of him. The food is delicious, fresh and beautifully prepared. As an extra bonus, they gladly accommodate my gluten-free needs for everything on the menu! This restaurant warms not only my belly but also my heart.

we were devastated to hear that they closed, no other Chinese restaurant comes near hunan pearl in the opposite and the closing quantities were a certificate for it, so hard to see another small family in the owned business close their doors we will miss you! the potsticker, the salt n pfeffer prawns, friendly staff, amazingly hot n acid soupe. just the best!

We had a great experience at this restaurant; the food was absolutely amazing. The place appeared clean from what I could see, although I didn’t use the facilities. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everyone who walked in was treated like family, which made us feel welcomed. I definitely plan to come back here the next time I'm in the area. I'm truly saddened to see this local gem go. No other Chinese restaurant can compare. Everything is always fresh, delicious, and made with care and a sense of joy. It was a favorite not only for the neighborhood but for Portland as a whole. No one will warm our hearts or our holidays quite like Hunan Pearl for a long time!

This is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve eaten at in years. The food is fresh and tastes delicious. The wait staff are very attentive. The place seems to have a touch of class about it which is a dwindling occurrence these days.

The food is always good!The food is usually always good. But this past Mother's Day we placed an order to go. The cashew nut chicken was missing something so it didn't taste good. We were a little disappointed.

My friends and I went to savor one last incredible meal before they permanently closed. They certainly didn't disappoint us! Both the food and service were outstanding. The Hunan Pearl will be greatly missed. Reserve uma mesa agora

My family has been eating here for over 20 years. It's great Chinese good. Great lunch specials and also good for special occasion, multi-course meals.

The kung pao chicken did not disappoint! Everything was very good and the portion sizes were as expected!
