Ichiban - Reservar uma mesa

This place is okay. The portions were average. I just didn't like the sauce on every roll. I ordered a Spicy Dragon Roll (not spicy at all) and a Rainbow Roll. I think a touch of eel sauce on the Dragon Roll would have been fine, but this roll was swimming in it. The Rainbow Roll I normally get doesn't have any sauce. The Rainbow Roll I got here just taste like the sauce. Sometimes, plain is better that overwhelming. I get that the chef wanted the rolls to have a good presentation, but I even told him to be light on the sauce for the Dragon Roll and no sauce for the Rainbow Roll. They have another section here in this restaurant that is an All you can eat, buffet. But, I didn't want quantity...

I had very high hopes for this restaurant and it was honestly a bit of a let down. The service was very hands off and didn't come to check of me, you have to call them, just like you're on an airplane, and the food didn't stun me or knock me off my feet. Also, the restaurant is branded as a Japanese one, but it's a mix of many Asian cuisines with a large emphasis on Korean food. So don't come here if you're looking for just a true, authentic Japanese experience.

Wow, where do I start? First, I'm so glad I wanted to order here tonight. From the moment I placed my order and spoke to the nicest person who took my order. She was so patient and took a semi-complex order with ease. The food was made fresh and delicious. The best sushi I ever had. The Californian role, honey Californian role and shrimp empura. It was all delicious. I'm glad I found my new visit to the area.

As always good food and service. With the pandemic that continues, they have placed social distancing in full. Nicely happy about how they all took apart. Sushi was great! One of the best. Fast and fresh as always. Each table has a button to call your server, it never gets old and its actually quite cool! A must for sushi.

We come here all the time for sushi. It's our favorite sushi place in Gaithersburg. The Saturday all you can eat buffet is very good too.
