The stop is worth a detour. It is a beautiful estate, small castle of the eighteenth century more than a house. George Sand was raised in this house that belonged to his great father's mother. The rooms are furnished with all original furniture that makes it interesting. The particularity is the small theatre and the castelet created by the son of Georges Sand Maurice. A magnificent place full of stories, from the terroir, art, emancipated women and from the nineteenth century. We had the chance to have a guided tour full of details and anecdotes. We went there for the Chopin Festival. The concerts were excellent despite the stifling heat. We had the guided tour of the house with the incredibly competent and enthusiastic curator to communicate the details of architecture and real estate.
