Il Toscano - Reservar uma mesa

Italian is my favorite cuisine in the world. I always look for nice Italian restaurants in my travels and Il Toscano was the best spot I could find in San Andres. They made authentic Italian cuisine. They have great seating, service, best location and decor. I started with the traditional appetizer of Bruschetta. Then I ordered one of favorite dishes the Spaghetti Carbonara to see if it would be prepared with perfection and sure thing I was not disappointed, in fact it was the best Spaghetti Carbonara I had eaten in two years. I visited Il Toscano with a friend in April 2016. We had a hard time making up our minds from all the delicious pastas so we chose to share Tagliatelle Rabbiata and Ravioli with spinach in gorgonzola.Well presented, perfectly seasoned and homemade pasta. For dessert we shared a Torta de Limon and the house Tiramisu, equally as good as the pasta. Incredibly well prepared, fresh and very, very tasty. I was in Heaven!It was by far the best meal I have had for a long time. So if you want to treat yourself to a true Italian experience, this is the place. Don't be fooled by the interior which looks a little dull you'll forget all about it at forst bite! Will definitely be back mmmmm....

Owners are Ialians that have recently started this restaurant (3 weeks ago). The cook original italian dishes,very tasty. They speak Italian and a little spanish. The foods is excellen, after the first time we came back 3 more times. We consider it one of the best restaurants on the island. Prices for two diners al la carte including starter, main course, desert or coffee and wine and water, range between COP 100000 and 200000. The also have a almuerzo ejecutive that is much cheaper around 25000 COP

Those people can reproduce the true , original and authentic Italian flavors at more than 10.000 klm from our land.I'm Italian, I'm resident here from 2001.My only downside ias that I feel a little beat to much ion the street since the big windows are without any curtains.:

The restaurant is managed by Italian guys. The pasta is good (less than in Italy, but great for a Caribbean island . If you can't eat sea food anymore, it is worth a trial! ;
