India Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

There is an India Cafe in Ann Arbor and I'm convinced the 5 star reviews ate at that place restaurant. Even the pictures make no sense. They are not of the building I went to. The building I went to was a distaster zone. Piled up dishes. Bare walls. A single cook working in a nasty kitchen. The food was disappointing, the chai was not chai in the slightest. If you're thinking of eating at the Ypsilanti location. And ignore any review that shows a clean looking place with a yellow wall. That is NOT this restaurant.

I'm disappointed that I didn't know about this sooner. I got 2 stuffed naans and a fried veggie appetizer. All unbelievable. I watched the owner make my bread from scratch. He apologized about the wait but that's unnecessary when you make food like that. I just mentioned my son and he gave me a free mango lassy for him. What a sweetheart. I'll die on this place. Amazing! ?????

Ordered vegetable biryani, chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, prawn curry. Both masala and curry came with a choice of rice or naan. Portions were big and the prices were good too. Cooked to order and the rice especially was good, and the service was nice. Owner gave us complimentary sweet rice as a desert too and it was really nice. Would happily return again.

The man working there is very nice and friendly. I tried malai kofta for the first time, it was so good!
