Indian & Nepalese Restaurant Mountain Gate

Sitting on a Sunday evening and was surprised that the restaurant was a block choc. Let yourself be sneaked to get a table within 10 minutes, which was good. Many take-ways were prepared and employees were at their toes. Menu presented and we are a big fan of Nepalese Momo that could have been the highlight for us, but for my shame it went a bit down. Chicken Momo: Picture on photos, Momo looks good and the Chutney they offered was one made for each other combo. But unfortunately, Momo missed the brand they were dry and the juicy meat filling was missing. I have eaten and ordered so many times last year from this restaurant, and every time that food has been consistently delicious and freshly cooked. eating is cheap and the portions are good. there is a large number of vegan curries on their menu (all marked) and all their rice dishes, as well as full grains, can also be made vegan. the owner/Koch is always very friendly and I still have a bad experience with this restaurant. I would give it five stars, but unfortunately happy cow only allows them to give them a whole five stars full of vegetarian/vegan restaurants.

large Indian curries at reasonable prices. fast service, friendly staff. they also take away. I love a good Vindaloo but my friend is afraid of spices and cannot tolerate hot food, so I can assure you that they are very accommodating and can cook delicious...mals for the faint in the heart as well as the hard curry fans. the restaurant is quite spacious so no need to your elbow in: try it... You will not be disappointed

Everything here tastes amazing! Came for Mum's birthday so we ordered a bunch of dishes and shared them all and every one of them was delicious! We had the Butter Chicken, Rogan Josh, Dahl Makhani, Malai Kofta and Palak Paneer alongside butter and garlic naans!!...Highly recommend!

the personal was really hospitable and the service was fast. eating was exceptionally delicious. I look forward to returning to try more dinge. especially loved the aubergine potato bowl and vegan momos. great!
