Indian Summer Harlem

I visited family in Harlem for the day and had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming, with soothing background music that added to the ambiance. Our wonderful waitress, Shamima, was extremely attentive. The food was delicious! We started with chicken vegetable samosas and garlic naan, along with another type of bread for appetizers. For my main course, I had the chicken with spinach sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. As I’m writing this, I'm ordering dessert! We all had a great time and will definitely be returning.

Not your standard Hindu restaurant. This one shares a faint jazzy atmosphere in a cozy, welcoming cellar. The menu is quite varied and enticing. We were amused by their lassis (recommended), and the curry chicken delighted us in a perfect balance of heat and flavor. Even the house rice (coming with the main entree) was amazing, hinted by cardamon and cloves, but not overwhelmingly. To top it all, their prices are reasonable. This was our first visit and we will come back to further explore their menu delicacies.

Indian summer has very good Indian food at a decent price with a cozy atmosphere Tucked away underground. It was a nice summer day, there was a gentle breeze in the windows were open. And I have to say it’s some of the best I felt in a restaurant in a long time. The decor is homey and complemented by how home cooked the meals feel.Food 15/20Service 6/10Atmosphere 8/10Total 29/40

I ate here for the first time. The food was very delicious and the presentation was nice.The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. You almost forget you’re in Harlem.The service was great 20/10. I was tended to by 2 ladies. They were so kind and attentive and gave my daughter a mango lassi which was delicious as well.I highly recommended this place. Reserve uma mesa agora

Authentic east Indian cuisine full of flavor that doesn't pull punches with the spices. The Garlic Chili Naan, Samosas, and Chicken dishes we had were all excellent and the location was wonderful for an outdoor dinner in the city. The staff are all so welcoming and kind, I'll definitely be going back again.

I've been enjoying Indian Summer restaurant since it opened, as I live just a block away, making it one of my favorite local spots. The food is delicious, which is why it's such a great dining option!

Delicious authentic Indian cuisine for no frills dine in experience or take out. Well worth the excursion 3 blocks south of the B/C MTA line 125th Subway station. Very good value for .

Excellent food! Had the duck vindaloo, if you like flavorful spice, you'll love this. The yellow dhal was delicious. The customer service was on point as well. Bravo! Reserve uma mesa agora

This restaurant is a charming, tranquil spot that offers delicious meals. Our server, Shamima, was friendly and prompt. I definitely plan to return in the future.

Naan bread is normally good. However, when I ordered cheese this time there was hardly any inside of it. Disappointed since I paid $13 for two cheese naan.
