First and foremost, customer service was on point and the location itself was nice (seating, decor, music). The menu provided plenty of options from shareable dishes, pizza, to entrees. The wine list was extensive offering lots of options. IMO the white wine was served far too cold. We enjoyed the prawn cocktail appetizer which was presented with horseradish on the side, making the cocktail sauce to your individual liking. Main dishes, special 8oz filet medium rare and a prawn entree dish. Both dishes were tasty but the steak still cooked on the dish to medium and was salty. The prawn entree was heavy on the butter. Just finished an amazing meal in Intermezzo by Wine Cask. We live in Healdsburg (food sky), but when we go to the south, this is our favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara, which says a lot, given all the good restaurants in this city. It has a great environment, delicious food and excellent staff. We had a nice conversation with the owner, John, and our waiter, Paul, was particularly wonderful!

Love this place! The service, food and ambience was amazing!! So many delicious dishes to choose from - we loved everything we ordered. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They also welcomed our dogs with such kindness. It's a must!

Loved the atmosphere in the courtyard on a summer evening. Energetic, but not French. Excellent service. Filet mignon was disappointing for $50. Too hard. Prices pretty high, $360 for 4 people with only 2 glasses of wine.
