Islands - Reservar mesa

The food here is consistently good, but the service has declined in recent months, primarily due to a shortage of staff and the absence of managers. On my latest visit, we waited nearly 35 minutes after finishing our meal just to obtain a gift card promotion. During that time, not a single manager came to our table to check in or apologize; the only person who did was our hardworking server, who was doing her best under the circumstances. It’s disappointing that the managers were nowhere to be found and failed to support their team. Additionally, the front hosts were also absent, despite having two staff members on duty, who spent their time on their phones instead of attending to customers.

Island's always has a nice atmosphere, great food and good service. This location is in Redondo Beach, California, and it is my favorite. Island's is a small chain so it differs little from place to place. But the service can be lacking in one and great in another. The food is really great. They have upgraded their meats and their burgers are wonderful and you have a large selection from which to choose. They also have great sides and their nachos are the bomb. Parking is easy and the service was very friendly and they checked on us several times.

I visited with my three young children and found the staff to be extremely accommodating. We chose to sit outside, and the manager came over to check if we would prefer to move indoors, as it looked like it might rain a little. It was really wonderful to have such a thoughtful experience, with the manager ensuring that everything was comfortable for me and my kids.

Delicious burgers at a reasonable price. The server was prompt and attentive, even with the restaurant being busy. While quality often declines at chain restaurants over time, Islands has managed to remain consistent throughout the years. Reserve uma mesa agora

Asked for my burger medium rare. The waitress replied they will only go as low as medium. I said I'll take medium. They served me a rare, borderline raw burger.
