Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse Lexington

We went for the first time to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. It was good, but no better than other good steakhouses. It was very expensive for what we got. I found the decor dated and somewhat gaudy. We were sat in the bar at one of the tall tables with tall bar chairs. We’re in our 70s and found this extremely uncomfortable to enjoy our special meal. Plus, the piano plater was extremely loud, too loud to carry on a normal conversation with the person next to you without shouting. Will I go back? Maybe, if someone else is paying and I don’t sit in the uncomfortable chairs.

Our food was outstanding to say the least! Best food we’ve ever had. And our server Angel was excellent, there can’t be a better server!
