Jeni's Ice Creams North Wells

This visit was a happy little accident. My partner and I visited the nearby King Tut exhibit and decided to go for a walk.... What's better than surprise ice cream? My partner had never had Jeni's so in we went. The minute you walk in, it smells amazingly like waffle cones and makes it impossible to leave without getting some. I got two flavors- Wildberry Lavender and Honey Vanilla Bean. Lavender is one of my favorites, and there's a good balance here without it being too flowery or soapy. My partner got two flavors as well, pumpkin cake roll and cold brew. They loved the combination. You're going to pay a bit more here for ethically sourced ingredients, but it's worth it, and worth a visit...

The staff was welcoming and the ice cream, delicious! I went with the Egg nog, Mexican coffee and the salted peanut butter with chocolate flakes. Each of them were great! I especially liked the Mexican coffee as it had a little spiciness to it at the end! There are also a lot more flavors I'd love to try! This visit I went with 3 flavors... next time I'm opting for the 10 scoop flight!

They usually have about 4 vegan flavors. While the selection is small, these four flavors are almost always amazingly delicious. Usually a long line, but it moves fast. (Happy Camper Pizza is a block away, recommend for large vegan cheese 'za in an entertaining environment.

They had only two vegan flavors both made with coconut milk. So if you like coconut, great for you, but if not, too bad. Also the chocolate one was far from the best beautiful creams I had.
