Jenny's - Reservar mesa

We’ve been eating in Jenny’s for years both in the original and this new restaurant and always had the best service until today. I admit it was very busy but from the moment we entered it was painful. B gore we even got a menu 3 waiting persons asked if we were ready to order, finally a young girl took our order poached eggs on toast with two extra bacon £2+ a rasher a traditional breakfast with extra an extra egg and bread and butter with a cup of tea. 25 mins later the tea turned up then we 15 mins after we had to asked when our food would arrive to be told we’d have to wait as they were busy! Well, what can I say? I ordered a mushroom burger, not a Beef Burger with mushroom. I wasn’t expected to be verbally abused by a woman, (took her to a supervisor) she tried to put the plate down in front of me again, and I stopped her. Then a bearded chef got really cross, and said that I’d ordered a burger and that’s what I got. I said I ordered a mushroom burger, and nowhere on the menu did it say beef with mushroom. I don’t eat meat so really didn’t want it. But the plate was greasy underneath, when I picked it up, it almost slipped out of my hand. This restaurant is top-notch in every way. The staff is friendly and efficient, the food comes out quickly and hot, and it is absolutely delicious. The prices are fair for the quality of food and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant for lunch in Salisbury. Do not pay attention to the few negative reviews, as there are many unreasonable people out there. (Note: we are not affiliated with this restaurant, just satisfied customers)

Excellent service, staff very attentive, made very welcome, food delicious. Ordered the chops with mushrooms, peas grilled tomatoes and chips, portion was large, asked for a box to take away 2 chops which I could not eat, this was provided willingly. My strawberry refresher( smoothie). was also tasty This meal would provide 2 people with a good lunch. I highly recommend eating at Jenny,s . The bistro also sell cakes&cheesecake. The restaurant was very crowded when we visited for lunch on a Saturday. It was our first time there and we were impressed by how good everyone's food looked. Despite the quick turnover, our table was cleaned promptly and our order was taken quickly. The food arrived hot and delicious. The staff was attentive and polite. Based on this experience, we would be happy to return the next time we are in Salisbury.

We didn't expect fast food, but this was slow by any standards. There were plenty of staff but it seemed that there was not enough cooking space for the number of tables/customers ordering. Although we thought we made our order clear and the waitress made careful note if it, we did not receive what we ordered. By that time we were just glad some food had arrived! Shan't be repeating our visit here.

The service was fine, I had a hot chocolate, which the menu said was £3.50. My husband had a mint tea which was £4 , expense for a tea bag. Anyway went to pay and they charged £4.50 for hot chocolate, when we challenged it, we were told the price was wrong on the menu . How many more items do they charge more for? Won’t go there again as wouldn’t trust them now. Very disappointed

Order pie, mash and gravy. Turned up with chips (no great issue, mistakes happen). They took meal and away returned with same chips said no mash available. So I asked if they would substiite the chips for a jacket potato and told that would be an extra £4. Really!? Jenny's used to be good value when in their old location, now just want to rip off customers. I won't be back. Reserve uma mesa agora

We went for lunch. My partner had a cheese and ham panini, while I ordered a BLT. What was served to me was very disappointing - just a bacon sandwich with a small side of salad on the plate. They even tried to pass it off as a BLT by toasting the bread. I definitely will not be returning to this restaurant.

Nice breakfast however was disappointed that there was no gluten free bread. In this day and age it’s so much easier to cater for allergies, and I feel it would really benefit the business to do so and reach a wider audience. Would like to return but only if more gluten free options than just omelette
