Jens Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

Visited Caroline for the Big Iron Stampede which has a parade through this pleasant little Alberta town. We stopped in at Jens for breakfast which proved to be very good. Two Bacon, two Eggs and French Toast. Plenty of coffee refills if wanted and very pleasant serving staff. The Bacon was the typical North American stuff, IE thin & crispy. Not what we Brits would call REAL Bacon, but OK I suppose. Later on that day after the stampede we called in again for an evening meal. We visited Caroline during the Big Iron Stampede, which includes a parade through this charming little city in Alberta. We had breakfast at Jens and it was delicious. We ordered two bacon, eggs, and French toast, with plenty of coffee refills from the friendly serving staff. The bacon was the thin, crispy North American style, not the British REAL Bacon. Later in the day, after the parade, we returned for dinner. The menu at Jens is limited to typical cafe items, including burgers and fries. I opted for the Veal Cutlets with a side of gravy, which was very tasty. The saloon next door can also provide food from Jens-Café if needed. I have been visiting this restaurant since I was a child, and as far back as I can remember, it was called Macdonald's or whatever name they had to change.

I have only visited this restaurant twice, with years in between each visit, but on both occasions we were not let down.
