Joanie's Pizzeria Of Long Grove

When we arrived for our reservation, we were told they cancelled all Open Table bookings because they had a server that did not show up. The problem is that they didn’t actually notify anyone that they cancelled via open table. So, we waited to be seated because we had 6 people and not a lot of options. It then took 2 1/2 hours to get our food, which we eventually asked for them to just box up so we could take it home. The food is great, but the service was terrible. I really hope they can get staffed appropriately so they stay in business. Hopefully they are hiring.

We had the pizza and chicken, and both were delicious. Even better, however, was the service. The night we went Joannies had an issue with their online reservation system that resulted in more patrons than they expected or would normally accommodate. The staff still managed to promptly sit my party of five After a few service delays, they comped my wife's drink and brought free dessert for the table. Their dedication to customer service keeps me coming back as much as the broasted chicken and delicious pizza!

Joanies has a menu which includes something for all tastes. Salads are great to start a meal and whenever we have a taste for broasted chicken we head to Joanies it's the best and we love the potatoes that come with the 4 piece order. The Sicilian pizza is also a favorite of ours with its square shape where every piece has the crust we enjoy. Great spot with wonderful workers who do their best to please.

great super! the service, eating and atmosphere make this place. shout to susan that was our waitress, the best! we come back! the pizza was so good. the chicken was also amazing! try it!

The pizza at Joanie’s is so light and crispy and flavorful it is unmatched! We absolutely love it! We probably go there or order every other week.
