Joany's Pizza Donair

My previous review may have been too harsh, so I'm amending it here. Although I still have an issue whenever I get a pizza turnover that 9 times out of 10 it's uncooked inside, but that's just one of the many options, and the truth is I really do like their pizza, and more importantly there hero subs. While perhaps not the best pizza place in town, it's definitely worth trying, but if you're getting a pizza turnover, and the idea of uncooked pizza dough ruins it for you, perhaps you should ask for it well done.

I would rate this pizza an 8.5/10 overall. The crust earns an 8 for its thick, chewy texture that adds to the experience. The sauce is also impressive, scoring an 8, providing just the right balance of flavor without being overly sweet. The cheese is delicious and deserves an 8.5 for its delightful taste. However, the pepperoni could be better, coming in at a 6.5. Overall, this is the best pizza in Cape Breton, especially their donair pizza, which features an excellent meat topping and a nicely balanced sauce.

Situated in the Needs building across from Caper Gas on George Street, this place offers delicious pizza in a clean and welcoming environment. The staff is friendly, and it's take-out only. You pay at the Needs checkout after showing your receipt. Plus, while you're there, you have a variety of drink and snack options readily available at Needs.

As newcomers to Cape Breton, we've been exploring various pizza spots around town. So far, Joany's has been the best pizza we've tried, and it will definitely be my new favorite place. The crust is perfect, the sauce is delicious, and they generously top their pizzas. We'll certainly be ordering from here whenever we're in the mood for pizza. Reserve uma mesa agora
