We ordered a large Napoli pizza and seafood marinara on fettuccine to share, along with a side of chips. To our delight, we were offered a complimentary garlic pizza while we waited for our order to arrive. The pasta was tasty, though not exactly what we were expecting in terms of fettuccine style. The seafood was fresh and flavorful. The pizza, on a thin crust base, was also enjoyable. Unfortunately, the chips were a letdown - lacking salt and flavor, they seemed to be the type you'd find in an oven-style packet from the grocery store. What a bayside gem! We were greeted warmly and exchanged banter with the owner. I suspect it may have been his elderly father behind the till. So straight away you know you're amongst family. Homemade pasta with an array of sauces. Pizzas. Seafood. Sides. Desserts. Drinks. Ambiance. Friendly prompt service. Joe's had it All. Nothing was a problem when it came to catering for our coeliac daughter. We don't live around here and travelled 30 minutes especially for the Joe's experience. Mentone locals can count themselves lucky to have Joe's.

Joe's is amazing! I live 40 minutes away and will drive there on a Friday night just to pick up a few family pizzas to bring home. I wish they were open more often because I haven't found better pizza in Melbourne. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the pizzas are absolutely delicious. Thank you for providing us with great memories and delicious food!

I love Joe’s, it has been in Mentone for years. My dad came here after school when he was a kid. Our family still goes here. The service is friendly. The pizza is yum and not greasy or too cheesy so you don’t feel like you’ve had a bad meal after eating here it’s fresh and yum! Haven’t had pasta because the pizza is too good to pass up on! The pizza and pasta at this restaurant are made authentically by locals who put love into their food. The decor is charming with fun pictures and memorabilia, creating a welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of dining at a friend's house who truly appreciates Mentone and Italian cuisine.

Pretty good pizza, the base is pretty good, crust is kind of flat, not in a bad way, it just doesn't rise up a lot. Pizzas are not oily either unlike a lot of suburban pizza shops where it's a complete oily fest.<br/ <br/ Good family place, staff are friendly and welcoming.

Love it here. Cute little family restraunt. So old school and love the atmosphere pizzas are great and pasta is all home made. The family who own and run it are lovley and make you feel as if ur in their home and have been invited over for dinner.

Located right on the beach. Eat in or take away to eat on the beach. Lovely and friendly service. It’s worth visiting just for the decor. You have never seen so many memorabilia in one place. And most importantly pizzas are delicious. Reserve uma mesa agora

Homemade pasta and an experience for dinner. Memorabilia on every inch of the walls. A perfect place for a warm winter dinner. My favourite is the 'al tonno ' tuna and tomato sauce with homemade fettucine.
