I had an evening flight into Vienna and my hotel didn 't have a restaurant so I decided to have dinner at the airport. Not the most appealing idea, but luckily I found this place! Inside it was a cozy bar like you 'd find in any city. I saw Goulash and was so excited, except the description didn 't sound like my grandma 's goulash (hers is like chili almost but I asked the bartender and he said it was authentic Austrian so I gave it a try. It was really delicious!!! It was beef and potato pancakes. I really needed some comfort food after too much drinking on vacation. But of course I had to have a big beer with this meal. The place attracts itself through its pub ambiance: smoke people slowly point to their beers, coffee and what not with good old rocknroll hits playing on the background. Cool design: stone and much worn wood. Food is nothing imagination, but everything delicious and fresh from the oven. Large change for eyes tired of bright artificial daylight and sterile metal and plastic ambience of the airport. 9,80€ for a large plate of Schnitzel with French french french, almost the same price for Gulasch with Knödl. €4.50 for a big beer of local beer. Be careful. The place is smoked everywhere! Chain smoker recognized. I love this place.

If you need good beer and pulpit after arrival, this is your place to go. Prices are ok, and atmosphere is good. Smoking is allowed inside, however, so you might get a smell on your clothes.

Just a quick lunch at the airport, I will recommend this restaurant. I had a carving and my colleagues a salmon. Service was fast and friendly.

Bar worked well as a meeting place. Service a little slow. Must pursue order. But otherwise worked well.
