John's Fish - Reservar uma mesa

While on my way to Clacton-on-Sea for a work meeting, I was craving some fish and chips. I looked online for the closest highly rated chip shop near my hotel, and found this one. It was easy to locate from the seafront. I ordered a medium cod with small chips and 2 ketchup packets for a total of £10, which I found to be a reasonable price compared to what I would pay back in Devon. They also offered a budget fish and chips option for £6. The wait was very reasonable. The food was excellent - the chips were really tasty and the portion size was good. Waited 20 minutes for our order as just arrived in Clacton and it was late, the fish was greasy not nice at all, you could taste dirty oil in your mouth, sausage went in the bin along with the fish and chips x2,, would not recommend this place at all,, we had an 8 hour journey and went to bed hungry waste of 20 quid

Although they initially had trouble with understanding orders, the food has always been consistently great. They have since improved their understanding of English slang and language. I highly recommend this chip shop, Janna.

We are staying in clacton for a few days and fancied some fish and chips looked at the ratings for John's fish shop and decided to try it was glad I did as the food was very good

Despite the lockdown restrictions I was made TO FILL WELCOME Clean and bright atmosphere with salt and vinegar available to add to the excellent food
