Overall, the food was pretty good, but I wouldn’t go back as the service left a lot to be desired. Three things stood out to me: (1) When someone asks for their steak to be well done, don’t look at them as though they’re a lunatic. Firstly, they are the customer. Secondly, she happened to be pregnant and isn’t allowed to have uncooked meat. (2) When someone asks for their steak to be well done, don’t then serve it medium, hiding the colour of it with some sauce. It’s disrespectful. Plus, it’s also disrespectful to then leave the other person’s meal and both bowls of rice there to get cold, whilst they wait for you to cook the meal again. We had an excellent meal. The Lao beef is tender with a delicious sauce, and the chicken bun bowl also has a delicious sauce and a variety of veggies. Refined, varied and quality cuisine. A very pleasant and attentive service. They are adorable, both mother and son. The noodles in their bobun are amazing.
