I had a great experience at this welcoming pub, with delicious and satisfying food! I highly recommend the Mushroom Ale Pie, while my friends loved the Beef Ale Pie, classic burger, Fish Cakes with salad, and Grilled Gammon. I would definitely return here for lunch if I ever come back to Winchester!

Been using this place on and off over twenty years. Consistantly the Sunday Lunch has been good value. A local that has kept going over the Covid years. We also use it sometimes for a quick evening meal local to us

The staff at this restaurant were extremely polite and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. In addition, the prices were very affordable. I will definitely be returning again in the future.

Excellent food, swift service. Honestly cannot fault. Not first visit, we returned because food so good here and the lamb shank is very nice and a very reasonable price

Really lovely little pub. The steak and ale and the chicken and ham pies were super tasty! Mark was very helpful and informative. Will definietly be back.
