We ordered a taco bar from the Bayside location for a family event with 45 people, and it was a huge hit among our guests. We placed our final order on a Monday, and the food was ready for pickup on Saturday, right on time. The staff took the time to explain how to set up the catering trays so that everything stayed warm without burning. The food was on the milder side, which was perfect for our large gathering, but I would recommend having some hot sauce available for guests who enjoy a bit of spice. Our first visit here and it was great. Honestly, we thought this place was not going to be very good just because we go to real Mexican restaurants in our Hispanic neighborhood. But i was pleasantly surprised. We had to sit and eat at the bar since it was late but no problem for us. The bartender was courteous, spoke both English and Spanish. Good to see mainly spanish speaking people around us and mexican/latin music on the speakers. Felt better than a Chi Chi lol. The street tacos were fantastic. The meat was well seasoned and juicy. My only issue, which is my own fault, was the house margarita. Its very very sweet compared to many others i have had, but generously served in a beer stein....

Jose's Blue Sombrero is an excellent spot for outstanding Mexican cuisine in Wauwatosa. Conveniently located next to Cafe Hollander, it features a welcoming bar area with TVs and both indoor and outdoor terraces, complete with a balcony. The food is truly delicious, and we especially love their fajitas, fajita tacos, burritos, and signature Mexican dishes. They also offer a great variety of margaritas, available frozen or on the rocks, including a refreshing thin margarita. Our favorite aspect is the guacamole cart, where fresh guacamole is prepared at your table with your choice of ingredients. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit when you're in the area!

The freshly made guacamole is amazing, recommend if you can only try one thing, go for that. Rest of the meal (enchiladas) was tasty as well. Fun place with a festive spirit. One side note is if you have minors along and plan to sit in the area near the bar, plan on waiting until happy hour ends (6 PM in our case). I occasionally bring my partner and toddler here. The back room offers a fantastic view of the trains passing by, which our son absolutely loves. At first glance, the prices may seem a bit high, but the portion sizes are impressive. I really enjoy their fresh guacamole, prepared right at the table, and the fajitas are outstanding!

Great service. The waiter misunderstood our order and offered to put it back in the kitchen, he requested a remake and tried to be absolutely certain it was correct. Cool to watch guacamole made in front of us. Excellent food. Moderate prices. Allot of food combos are not traditional, food is trendy.

This place is a real gem, especially during Happy Hour! The atmosphere and decor are really cool. We ordered some chips and guacamole, and a lady came by with a cart full of fresh ingredients and prepared it right in front of us. It was fantastic!

Excellent food. Had the Friday Mexican fish fry with potato pancakes. House margaritas are great!! Would definitely visit again!!

Phenomenal food, clean restaurant and good service! Will definitely go back! You can't find a better Mexican food out there.
