Journey East Noodle

We loved it. I've eaten ramen all over the world, and this was the best I've had in Louisiana. I'd prefer the traditional pork belly to the denser pork loin, but I get it. They're just catering to their localmarket. Both the spicy miso based broth and the traditional tonkotsu broth were excellent, and the price is very reasonable. The service was exceptional. We'll definitely be back. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to the lack of pork belly. I got the beef ramen. It was $16. The beef(flavorless) and the egg(idk of it was sitting or what) was not the best. But the everything else was on point I wanted to actually drink the broth after I was done I added the purple packet and Sriracha that they provided. That part gets a 10/10. But for 16 bucks I’d want the meat and egg to be just as good and not bland. So that sucked.

I tried the creamy chicken ramen and it was absolutely delicious! The food at this restaurant is top-notch, and the staff are friendly and respectful. The steak kimchi fries are incredibly tasty, and the teas are also wonderful. It's clear that they put a lot of love and care into each dish. The atmosphere was peaceful, and this place deserves to be more popular.

Easily one of the best bowls of ramen I've had, with great prices too. Nice selection of ramen options and add ins, as well as dumplings and other offerings.

Great Ramen and their coconut shrimp (appetizer) is phenomenal!Vegetarian options: They have some veggie options and the tofu was cooked perfectly.
