Our small group needed accommodation out of season: the hotelier managed to allow us access to his hotel and its amenities despite the holidays. When we are backpacking, we appreciate it. The breakfast is generous, served early enough in the morning to go hiking before the heat. The hotel is comfortable and our arrival was well anticipated, the hotelier even telephoned us to ensure our understanding of the situation. Recent work ensures good comfort in the rooms. Only one downside:: 2 of us needed a respirator for sleep apnea and there are no outlets near the bed. In our ultra-connected age, that's a bit of a shame. But you can book with confidence! A must-see place in St-Etienne-de-Baïgorry. Remarkable cuisine, fresh and quality products, the food menu is light but typical of the Basque Country. The hotel is charming, quiet and the rooms are functional. The staff is pleasant and smiling. A superb experience that we repeat every year as a family.
