Kanonenhof - Reservar uma mesa

The restaurant “Kanonenhof”, although having a long tradition, was taken over by a young couple from Ex-Yugoslavia only in 2011. So far they made only minor changes. While the interior looks very much like before, the menu was modified to a certain extent. It now comprises a few typical Balkan dishes as e.g. Ćevapčići, but still boasts several of the classics of this restaurant. Some particularities also have remained the same, such as using a milk can rather than a tureen as a container for soup and serving one particular dish in a small wooden push cart. On a summerly Sunday in September we had lunch at the marvelous, well-shaded terrace of “Kanonenhof”. The look and feel of the menu was not promising at all: Poorly designed pages inserted in sticky pouches, which looked as if they had been in use already for years. However, the content of the menu was far more pleasing because it comprised not only meat dishes from the Balkans, but also fish, calamari, several kinds of Austrian “Schnitzel” as well as typical Carinthian filled pasta. Sinceramente mi aspettavo di meglio! Abbiamo mangiato un piatto misto con Carne alla griglia e un'insalata con totani fritti, ma non mi Hanno soddisfatto molto. L'ambiente è carino e curato nella sala interna, ma all'entrata c'è la sala fumatori e tra l'odore di fumo e il fritto dalla cucina, non è che sia molto invitante.

Metti una sera di mezza estate in cui ti va di mangiare qualcosa di semplice ma curato allora questo e'il posto giusto ! Piatti tipici balcanici gradevoli,personale gentile e giusto rapporto qualita'-prezzo,se ricapitiamo da quelle parti ci torniamo volentieri!

Bei unser Rückkehr aus Kroatien machten wir Stopp beim Kanonenhof. Freundliche Bedingung und sehr leckeres Essen. Leider ist ein Essen falsch gekommen somit gibt es einen Punkt Abzug. Aber sonst sehr zu empfehlen.
