I really don't understand how this company has 4.6 reviews. The complaints about custom orders and how even when the company screws up your order whether it be by the design or a quality issue which I had with my cake are true! They DON'T care and are not customer friendly and are just money hungry.Let's be perfectly clear, you CAN'T operate a business this way. Take heed and notes from a business and consumer prospective and treat your customer's better. Yes we know things happen but it seems like this company is taking people's money and not being held or even think they are accountable when an issue arises. Got the cake for my moms surprise 50th here and it was spectacular! The color theme was rose gold- which can be a tricky color to match to- but that was no problem as it came out amazing and matched the decor perfectly. They were very helpful and attentive to what I wanted. I like that they ask you for reference photos and are extremely detailed when taking your order. They also had the best price for what I was looking for, and were transparent with pricing. the cake not only looked great, but tasted delicious too! Everyone at the party loved it and asked where I got it from. Will definitely be back for when I need a special cake again.

Hi, we recently ordered a very expensive bridal shower cake from Kara Kakes in Franklin Lakes. The cake was decorated very nice and looked great. However, it tasted like cardboard, and hardly anyone ate it. It was ordered weeks before, and maybe they made it weeks before? I dont know, but if you want a cake that tastes good, get it somewhere else..

First time at this location and it won’t be the last! Outstanding sweets looking forward to trying some other goodies. My wife and I came to late and they were sold out of all cupcakes so we took the mini cupcakes and they did not disappoint!

The most delicious and creative cupcakes, cakes and cookie bars ever!! I bring a box of cupcakes to every party I go to and everyone loves them. The owner is also the nicest girl ever.
