Karthi's Braunlage Cafe - Restaurant - Biergarten

I had the Franzi which is a schnitzel with cheese and sone vegatables and chips. The size and taste of the schitzel was oké, but that's it. Nothing special. The Hefe beer was nice and the coffee as desert, which comes from the café in the next building was nice too.

I like German food in the way that it is very straightforward and unfancy. At Karthis you get a schnitzel tondie for. Since this is also a butcher, ingredients are obviously first class. And the Zigeuner schnitzel I had was the best one yet.

Have eaten here many times in all parts of the Resturant and cafe. The staff are always friendly and helpful, always willing to alter menus to our liking. Very reasonable prices and generous portion sizes. Would recommend to anyone.

We got here a bit before closing time on a week night. this did not impact our stay at all. The staff were friendly & helpful, and the food was great the schintzel were lovely and the portions good. Would recomend this to anyone.
