Kartoffel-Kiste - Reservar uma mesa

We were there on a Sunday, for reasons they don't tell you, they only serve a few meals from the card. Frozen supermarket vegetables and potatoes in a baking dish, some cheese on top, that was it. And the location is so small, the stairs too steep and tiny, no privacy, everyone in the room had to move out of the way when one of us had to go to the toilet, it was just not nice. The waiter was pretty unenthusiastic. All in all, it was barely okay we won't go there again, espcially not on a sunday.

I tiny little restaurant in a historic red brick building with cosy (pub alike) and historic interieur. We had a perfect potato meal, really something to have more often. The servant was friendly with a nice sense of humor and good information about the history of the restaurant right at his fingertips. Was a lot of fun!!

As the name says potatoes is the speciality. We all had different potato soups and all were happy about the soup. The next dishes were merely average. The service was not great but not terrible, and that a mid price speciality restaurant does not accept credit cards is strange, even in Germany!

we were already in this restaurant several times that was located in a very nice factory house and had never been disappointed. The personal is courteous, the ambiente is rurally stylish.Even for families(successing generations) there is something on the menu for everyone.

All dishes have some form of potatoes. This is not bad. It is tasty and not pricy. The atmosphere is great. I would go there again.
