I came to visit my boyfriend in Saint Louis from Texas and his mom suggested going to Katie 's Pizza Pasta Osteria since she thought that it would be a fun vibe for us kids in our early 20s. She was right! The vibe was very cute, we sat outside and the patio was decorated really nicely and the staff was very kind which added to the atmosphere. The waitress suggested for drinks to try the Lifeaholic cocktail drink. She said that this was her favorite drink and that if I liked fruity drinks it would be a great order. I chose Katie's for a business lunch last week and it didn't disappoint. The weather looked to beautiful so I made a patio reservation. While it was perfect patio weather, it was great that the host checked to see if I still wanted to sit outside. My server introduced herself right away and got me an iced tea while I waited for my colleague. Ruby was friendly and upbeat and frequently checked in on us during our visit. Excellent pizzas and service! I called ahead to see if we can bring a cake for a celebration, and they welcomed it with open arms and even offered plates and utensils although I brought my own and pre cut the cake for ease of serving). They do get very busy, reservation via Resy) is highly recommended. The crust on the pizza is so fantastic, you can throw anything on top and I will eat it. Some of my favorites are Black Garlic Artichoke $21), Pancetta Fig $22) Truffle $36). Famous Fried Artichokes $16 Excellent appetizer, best fried artichokes around. Made a reservation at Rockhill a week+ prior to date (10/28) for a special occasion and asked not to be seated near the door...it 's cold and noisy there. When we arrived we were met with an acknowledgement of the request and were told we could sit outside or at the bar. Incredibly rude woman we spoke with said she was the manager. My impression was your patronage doesn 't matter . And she 's probably right. They cleared a table near the door... So we left and had a lovey dinner at Frida 's. I 've been a Katie 's fan for years, no longer. Don 't ask if diners have special requests if you have no intention of honoring them.

Always a scrumptious meal! Split the Ezzo Pepperoni pizza and the Fioro Arrabiata with a friend. Both so good! I'd love to have a little more honey drizzle on the pizza. The savory and sweet is so good together. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente. Be back soon!
