King 88 - Reservar uma mesa

Enjoyed prawns and vegetables in garlic sauce with some steamed rice for dinner. Good serve, quite a few succulent prawns, good selection of vegetables cooked just right, not overcooked just the right amount of crunch, delicious garlic sauce with balanced flavours. Complimentary prawn crackers served prior to meal, and attentive staff who offer to top up your pot of jasmine tea without being asked is a credit to this local Chinese, now going to be our favourite.

Food was good and more than sufficient. The service was done with a smileand promptly. There is very little waiting between courses, unless you ask for the courses to be brought out slowly. Parking is the only negstive. Parking outside can be difficult however around the corner is a supermarket car park.

We were there for a family dinner in the restaurant (not takeaway). We sat there for over 40 minutes without our dinner on the table. Watching people come in, order and wait for their meals.. then naturally receiving their dinners and go. I would say...More

The food is fresh, delicious and full of flavour. We have been there almost every night of the week and they are extremely busy on the weekends. Although busy, the quality remains the same. Fresh, hot and delicious. Portions are generous too.

After a year or two in the wilderness following the departure of long time owners, King 88 has changed hands again and is back to being a viable local Chinese restaurant for us. Generous serves and tasty food as in the past.
