Kingfish Seafood - Reservar uma mesa

Unfortunately, this was our first time. Honestly, we would 've tried it much sooner if the sign didn 't look, well, fishy. The combination of the name, the sign and the restaurant hill location, which these days raises a red flag to most Akronites, sadly kept us away. We finally tried it b/c a friend said it was actually fine dining. Curiosity got the better of me, and boy am I glad it did! Fantastic service from start to finish (which sadly)we don 't find much in Akron these days. Each course was exquisite, probably the best damn martini (Belvedere) I 've ever had...crafted superbly. The bread fantastic. The manager stopped by our table to check on us after our entrees arrived...the tempera...

Last night, my husband and another couple had a wonderful culinary experience at Kingfish. 3 of us enjoyed the Bluepoint oyster appetizer, and then for delicious dinner. I had the wild Pacific salmon with quinoa, snap bases, roasted paprika, honey lemon vinaiigrette. Jeffrey and Matt had the Shrimp Scallops Sauté with all w/green beans, potatoes lemon butter, and Dar enjoyed the Snapper Special. All were divine, served by Mark, who was exceptional, attentive and ready to make excellent suggestions for drinks, wine and dinner. The ambience is relaxed and comfortable, but elegant. Dress is 'business casual', but men can wear dressy shorts, no shortcuts or t-shirts. What a great evening.

Kingfish is one of the very best seafood places I have ever visited, and I was stationed in Hawaii and San Diego. The chef is innovative, creating delectable sauces and stunning presentations. Our host was Mark T, who knew everything about every item on the menu, and seemed to appear throughout the meal at just the right times. Kingfish is our new special occasion restaurant!

It was very nice to go to a restaurant that also a vegetarian menu.. I had the BBQ carrots and harvest plates... both were fabulous... my husband had the royal crab legs and he said they were as good as we were in Alaska... very nice atmosphere and good service... we will definitely go back

Excellent food, attentive service, magnificent surroundings! The scalops were amazing and the lobster bisque was the best I had. Fine culinary experience with a slightly lower price than you expect.
