Kirwans On The Wharf

Just back from a fantastic week in Washington DC. We stayed at the Hyatt Hotel which was perfect for sight seeing and right next door to Kirwan's on the Wharf. Happy to say that Kirwan's became our local for the week. We enjoyed delicious food, excellent wine, great Guinness and extremely friendly staff. There was entertainment and music but above all plenty of good old Irish craic!

By far my ultimate favorite at District Wharf! The food, the service, the atmosphere are all the top notch! Internal seat, external seat. Upstairs seating, ground floor seating. No matter where you are the experience, is top Notch! Has turned out to be the entire Kirwan team for a job!!

Relaxed atmosphere, blooming scene, great menus and best Guinness in the city. Had lunch with my 15 year old son after his football practice and we both enjoyed our meal very much. Great mix of customers, from tourists to Washington looking for a cool place to hang out. We'll be back.

Really authentic. If I didn't know better, I would have sworn, I was in a pub by the sea in Ireland. And the Coddle I've never seen on a pub menu in the states. So good. Great service and excellent food. We will definitely come back.

Restaurant has a great location. A great pub atmosphere. Of course I love everything Irish. Great drinking glasses. Too bad u can't buy it. The food and service was great. We'll be back. highly recommended
